Shipping and Returns.
Processing of Orders
All order are posted within 1 - 2 business days of being received, usually the next business day.
Customers will receive a notification when their fabrics have been posted.
International Shipping
Fabrics are only posted within Australia.
Postage Carrier
All orders are sent via Australia Post.
Untracked Post Cost
Flat rate of $5 for first 25CM of fabric, plus 30c for each additional item.
Postage costs over $7 will automatically be sent tracked regardless of the customer’s choice at checkout.
Tracked Post Cost
Flat rate of $10.70 regardless of size of order.
Note
Mail lost by Australia Post is relatively rare. In fact, in the hundreds of orders I’ve posted, none have ever gone astray. Nevertheless customers who choose untracked post do so at their own risk. Whilst every care will be taken to ensure orders are securely packaged and clearly addressed, this business is not responsible for mail that has been sent untracked and become lost.
Returns
Fabrics purchased cannot be returned simply because of a change of mind, as the fabrics sent will have already been cut specifically for that order.
Returns will be accepted either because a fabric has a manufacturing fault or because the incorrect fabric has been shipped, and after Runaway Quilts Australia has been notified. Fabrics being returned will need to be posted back within 5 days after delivery.
A fabric being returned because of one of these two reasons will be at the buyers expense. Once the fault in the actual fabric or the fault in the order has been confirmed, a full refund of the initial order and the buyer’s return postage cost will be provided.
